The essence of 33 years of APOLYT turntable design and evolution culminates in an entirely new turntable concept.

The task was to transfer the relevant and unique design features of the very large and heavy APOLYT turntable into a considerably more compact and feasible format without losing any aspect of the unique sound level provided.

All design features and inventions that defined the unique pinnacle level of APOLYT's sound performance have now been incorporated into a much more compact and positively matured new design.

Features:

Platter

A uniquely designed platter with 36 (thirty-six!) layers, composed of 18 different materials with a defined energy transfer speed, combined in an optimal sequence.

Incorporating vinyl, HD18 tungsten, titanium, AW6082 alloy, 1.4401 vanadium steel plus a defined blend of pressed organic materials together and bounded by natural resin.

With the unique inner platter design according to the APOLYT concept and more.

The A*STELLAR platter is 100% non-resonant, with a truly unique design featuring an absolutely non-reflective inner surface.

Designed to provide the best possible "background" sound, deep black, to reveal the slightest details in a natural and authentic environment.

To allow the finest details to naturally appear and quickly integrate into the fully harmonic sound landscape.

The platter axis is completely decoupled and isolated from the bearing, featuring an internal thread to allow optimal coupling of the vinyl record to the platter surface via a screwed clamping collar, as well as the weight of the record.

Bearing

It is a unique, adjustable, maintenance-free bi-radial magnetic bearing that ensures perfectly isolated rotation completely free from vibrations.

Suspension / Plinth

Suspended base with a resonance frequency of 1.2 Hz.

3-point precision leveling with tilt prevention.

3-level base, made from 3 different aluminum alloys with titanium inlays and vibration-absorbing gel.

Lever mounting plates with "zero tolerance" automatic repositioning design: each mounted and aligned tonearm in a position can be moved to any of the other 3 positions without the need for realignment or recalibration.

Arm with defined and maximized energy transfer.

Drive

Belt drive with dual-point brushless DC motor with active motor dynamics management and free from any parasitic lateral force or resistance applied to the platter.

Dual flywheel drive with integrated maximized inertia in the active motor management.

The level of turntable and tonearm bearings is completely decoupled from that of the motor.

Speeds of 33, 45, and 78, all stabilized with deviation less than 0.01 from the set speed.
